Kayaking at Camp

I was really scared to get into the Kayak because I thought I was going to capsize, and then I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fell in because I bumped into another Kayak, but guess what, the other kayak capsized as well. I was wet and I was so so so so so so cold because the water was very cold. I was the first one to capsize into the water. Then I went again and I got in a double kayak and I went with my friend Mao. When we were finished we went for a little swim behind the slippery rocks. When my team was walking on the rocks somebody slipped because they were running on the rocks. On the rocks were puddles of cold water, we pretended they were spa pools.

Dr Ben Carson

Pt England years 5 to 8 went on a trip to the Telstra Clear Events Center to listen to Ben Carson. At first we had no idea who he was but once we got into the stadium we watched a movie of him and learnt that he was surgeon.

He is from America and he was bulled when he was a little boy.When he was a little boy and he was watching T.V his mother wanted for him to go to the library,so he did and he went to the library and he was reading a book about rocks and stuff,then his teacher at school he got a rock and he told the class "What kind of rock is this?"the teacher said,then he said the right answer.I learnt about ow cool reading is and how you can make your dreams come true.

My Family

I have three people in my family,there is my mum my dad and me.My mum is a Manager and my dad goes to university.Where do your parents work?

I love my mum and my dad they are the best!Because they love me and protect me and always hug me and kiss me on the cheek.I have heaps of fun with my mum and dad they spoil me and they get me gifts so I love them very very very much!!!

At The Cook Islands

This is me posing in front of the camera,in Rarotonga.I had lots of fun and had lots of new stuff to look at, even had new food to eat as well.Have you ever been to the Islands before? 

When I left Rarotonga I was so so so sad because I had been there for 3 weeks. I was just getting use to it and I loved walking around and going to the warf. My favourite part in Rarotonga was meeting people that we are related to.

Room 13 New Furniture

Surprise of all surprises,room 13’s new furniture arrived on time!Sitting at our flash new tables and relaxing on our steps is heaps of fun.Thanks to Mr Burt and Mr J for getting our new furniture

The Candy Dragon

Amazingly in a market in China a very talented man made a dragon out of burning hot brown sugar. Keeping the pan of sugar on the fire beside him, he made sure it was always hot.Using a very special spoon, called a ladle he dipped the sugar on to the paper. Have you ever seen a candy dragon?

The Mental Hippo

As the small boat passed by the hippos,a massive beast leapt up to defend its territory. Gathering speed, the tourists boat speed away from the advancing animal. Surprisingly, hippos are the second most deadly wild animal.

My Holidays

In the holidays I went to swimarama THREE TIMES!!!!! My favourite one was when I went with my baby cousin, my three aunties and my papa. Jumping into the pool, I shivered because of the cold water. Happily, I warmed up and felt more comfortable.

Then I went in the lovely inside pool, I got in there and then it was nice and warm. I felt so relaxed.I also saw some people from my school. I went to the sprinklers and then it went on my face OUCH!!!!!!!!

The Duffy Show

Have you ever been to the Duffy show before?Well I have and it was really funny.My favourite character was Scruffy he  was hilarious.Scruffy nearly blew my head OFF!!!Me and my friends were laughing really hard and we were about to lose our breath by laughing to hard . Scruffy put heaps and  heaps of effort in his characters and that was all I needed. The Duffy show was telling me to read all the time.

At the beach

Swimming at the beach with the big waves and floating seaweed, I drifted away. Beneath my feet were sharp shells. I accidentally stood on one. Have you ever seen a star fish?

My New Classroom!!! 2012

When i first heard my name called for room 13, I ran to the line of people for my new class and I was so excited. I was running to my new class room, banging against the wall, crashing into people and finally I got there. I wonder what this year is going to be like?

I entered into my brand new class room and there were some people from my old class. Some were from room 12 and some were from the last years room 13.I was so shy to stand up and say something or even put my hand up,but on the second day I wasn't scared. I made some new friends and I was scared to say hi but I did it and I was so proud of myself.
