The 3 Teachers who are my favorite!

 Miss Garden is my 2013 teacher. She is so kind and is so funny. We play games and she lets us play on our netbooks in the morning. I like miss Garden because she is cool. Some day it will be cool to have a man teacher but if its lady teachers all the way, Im fine with that.

Mr Marks and Mr S are like brothers. Mr S told his literacy group that when there is a meeting going on for teachers he never ever sits with Mr Marks Because they always talk and laugh. They have some stuff in common like they are funny and really sporty.

What helps you with maths?

What helps you with maths? The thing that help me are Mathwhizz and Xtramth.

If you dont believe  me then look at this. there are a lot of games to chose from but I have more.

For Xtramath we answer about 30 questions then we move on to race the teacher. Race the teacher is so hard it only gives you 5sec to answer. it goes to level after level and then your done, the order goes +,-,x and then division.

Oamaru Creek

Walking to Oamaru Creek the sun was shining on me. As I sat down I saw duck poo all over the grass. I went with my home class Rm 17. We had to sketch the things that were in front of us. So I chose my space to sketch. I went to the bridge near the dam.

We each had a partner. So my partner was Farida. We both walked to the bridge. I was on the bridge and she was in the shade.

As I was sketching I felt the wind coming. That was a bad sign. Then my paper flew in my face a million times. I was trying to concentrate on my work  but my paper would not stop hitting me in the face.


Finally the wind stopped but there was only a little bit of time left so I quickly put some trees at the side and ducks in the pond, butterflies on the flowers and tadpoles in the dam on my paper. But the Miss Garden said “TIMES UP!” So I went to Farida and as partners we went to Miss Garden and show her what we have done so far.

Waitangi day

The first week of the year has a one day holiday. OMG! You know what that means? Sleep in, yaaay. I was so excited.

That morning, I opened my eyes and I thought about school. Without thinking,  I quickly had breakfast, brushed my teeth and made my bed. All of a sudden my mum came along and asked “what are you doing?” I said to her “mum, it’s wednesday I have to go to school” then she replied “What are you talking about? Its Waitangi day.” “I forgot! Can i go back to sleep?” I asked . So I did and enjoyed a nice sleep in.

The first day of school

Thinking who my teacher is? Thinking what mr or mrs look like? Thinking if some of my friends from last year was gonna be in my class? This year I am a year 6 and I am really excited and nervous at the same time!

As I took my first step into the school the bell rang. Running to my old classroom I saw all my friends! walking to the hall I was so excited.

Waiting for my name to be called out I was so nervous. First it was room 18 then room 17 I really wanted to be in room 17 because all my friends were standing up for that class. As I was crossing my fingers I finally heard my name for room 17 I jumped into the air lined up and started dancing to my new classroom.
